1. This is just some buildings on main street in my home town of Boerne. This is just to show the small town I come from. I like my hometown but people try to make it look too "country cute" and there are too many antique stores.
3. Jollibee! I chose this because many people know Jollibee is from the Phillipines. I've tried it before. They seem to sell a bit of everything. They have breakfast, hotdogs, chicken, burgers, and even spaghetti^^
4. Here are some foods from around the world. I think the internationalization of foods that were once only local is the best way to spread and share culture. Everybody likes to eat

1. Your hometown looks so quiet and the shops look cute! What do you like most about it?
ReplyDelete2. I read the news about the latest shooting in your country and it is terrible! Regardless, your country is still powerful. Another thing I like about your country are your national parks. I wish I could visit one someday..
3. I miss Jollibee chicken and gravy! This fastfood is only located in the city so I had to travel almost an hour by jeepney to get there. We used to go there on my birthday. Fastfood was a treat! What's your favorite fastfood and why?
4. Ah, yes! Food is universal. Everyone has something to share when talking about food.
1. I guess I like that it's pretty relaxed usually. There are lots of little festivals like Berges Fest, a kind of mini Oktoberfest. We also get a lot of classic car shows. Oh, and we have ghosts. There are some really old more than 100 year old buildings that everyone believes are haunted. There are still businesses in those buildings so many people say they have seen a ghost, seen something move, or have been touched by invisible hands.
ReplyDelete2. The biggest state park in Texas is called Big Bend. It's more desert like and rocky but still really beautiful. You might even find a real Native American arrowhead.
3. There is a fast food burger place that is only in Texas called Whataburger. It's pretty good and a kind of a symbol Texas culture. But, personally, I like Long John Silver's. It's fast fried seafood and some people think it's gross but I love it.
